Before I let to much time pass, I wanted to share with you my recent visit to Indie Sacramento. Indie Sacramento is the brain child of my homegirl, Amy Cluck of Peptogirl.com who also has a wonderful blog called Handmade and Homebaked.
Her first show was in December of 2007, followed by another show on December of last year, and now, due to it's raging success, is a monthly trunk show of Indie stores, designers, crafters and artists.
I always love supporting local talent, and if it is not local, I am all about homegrown and handmade.
This past show proved to provide both.
All the vendors are muey awesome, friendly and eager to share information regarding their sacred products.
Here, you don't have to take my word for it!
This first pic is of my girl, Stacey's table reppin her store, Bouton blue. She knitts like no body's business. Here is a sampling of her wears. She also takes custom orders. (I ordered a black neck cuff) and she also is a regular blogger and has an etsy store.

I thought these were amazing, and would make awesome desk and or housewarming gifts!
Look, how cute are these little terrarium in a jar! Also peep out the felted over rocks! These are lovingly made by my girl, Melissa of Haworth Handmade. I just love her recent collection!
I also got the pleasure to meet someone new! Her name is Carol and she is one of the owners of the C.T. Durham Soap company. I ooooohed and awwwwed over her wonderful handmade natural sopas and skin care products. Everything smelled so soothing and the creams were very silky and creamy. She told me that everything is made with natural products and about 99 percent of her line is "Vegan" friendly. She said she has a couple of products that use beeswax, but that is it. Her prices are extremely reasonable, and I loved how she had so much pride in her product line. I purchased a lotion on a "stick" It is awesome.
She also sells on etsy. www.skinessentials.etsy.com
Take a look!
One of my main purposes for visiting this show, was to meet up with the famous "Miss Vicky"
(she is very shy)
Anyhoo, Miss Vicky, in a nutshell is an Artist, teacher, crafter, artist, store owner, and now, the owner and operator of Miss Vicky's Retreats! She is just plain genious. She graciously dontated some major swag for the Crafty Chica cruise. (Thank You Vicky) You can find her at.
Miss Vicky Retreats
and her daily blog
She has some amazing Art retreats coming up, so do check out her retreat website!
Moving on down the line is another friend of mine, Lauren of the adorable popular blogsite, Goody Goody Handmade.
I love her style and her blog is always featuring tutorials and the occasional give away.
Next up is one of my favorite chicas, Tamie Snow, of Roxycraft and Tiny Yarn Animals. She makes patterns that don't suck! She is also a local celebrity! Ayeeeee.
Not bad for Sacramento, right?
